Receptionist Skills: The successful candidate for this full-time with benefits position will be responsible for numerous varied receptionist duties including answering all Corporate Office calls and providing the requested information or making the appropriate transfer, courteously greeting all visitors, and becoming familiar with all employees and all Amicus program participants.


Essential Data Entry, Tracking and Filing Skills: In addition to the above receptionist duties, this candidate will also provide secretarial support to the Amicus Executive Secretary and Amicus Human Resource Manager by performing filing and data entry duties with a high level of accuracy. These duties are repetitive but essential to Amicus to maintain its high accreditation standards. This candidate must be detail-oriented, demonstrate a consistent high level of work performance, and upon training completion, must have the ability to work independently.


Data entry duties include processing agency-wide new hire packets requiring extensive logging and tracking of mandatory employment documents to verify identification, education, certifications, training, driver and vehicle documentation at the time of hire, and additional tracking and filing of ongoing required trainings and certifications throughout employment.


This candidate will also be responsible for ordering and tracking office supplies; processing, sorting, and filing confidential employee records and tracking agency-wide safety records. Additionally, client incident reports and staff retention data will be tracked in Excel. Other clerical work may be assigned as outlined in the job description including assisting the Executive Secretary with the preparation and distribution of reports, handbooks and policy books annually.


Education & Experience: Associate degree in Office Education or equivalent of secretarial training and office experience preferred; high school diploma required in combination with a minimum of three years of secretarial or office experience. Work experience must reflect a consistent high level of work performance and strong organizational and filing skills.   The successful candidate will be familiar with Microsoft Office including Excel and have the ability to keyboard/type a minimum of 45 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy. Schedule: This is a full-time position with full benefits; the office is open Monday-Friday, generally 8:00 a.m. ‚Äď 4:30 p.m.


Reporting Relationship: This person will report directly to the Executive Director and work closely with and receive guidance and directions from the Executive Secretary.
