Full-time Program Assistant  (UPDATED 11/15/2019)

Full-time with Benefits


Amicus is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, fun, team player to assist men and women with different abilities in two Amicus programs. Time will be split between Community Life and Phoenix Pathways to Employment.


Community Skills Program Assistants work closely with participants to provide support for their personal growth and development based on their individual goals and objectives to become more independent and healthy, and to live a fulfilling life.  Work may include occasional weekend and evening hours.  


Pathways to Employment Program Assistants work directly with participants providing services and support to enhance their life skills, interpersonal development and employment readiness.


Requirements:High school diploma or GED; ability to follow Person Centered Plans and keep accurate notes; clean driving record; willingness to drive a 12-person van; dependable transportation. DSP preferred, but will train.


Schedule: This is a full-time position with full benefits. Pathways operates from 8:00 am ‚Äď 1:30 pm, M-F; Community Life hours may include occasional weekend and evening hours.¬†¬†


Benefits: Full-time: Employees working 35 hours per week or more are considered full-time and are eligible for a competitive benefits package: medical, dental, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance; eye care discount; vacation, sick and holidays; tuition reimbursement (two approved courses per year up to $500 per course); 401k option.
