Substitute Program Assistants  (Open at Various Times Based on Need)

Join our professional team in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism in an environment of respect and energy. Our programs offer those we serve unique supports that enhance life skill-building and include a wide variety of activities including art, theater, fitness, volunteerism, and self-advocacy. Our focus is to help individuals maximize their independence and maintain and improve quality of life through skill building, community involvement, creativity, and self-advocacy.

This position may find the successful candidate working in one or more of the numerous Amicus high quality and unique programs including the Bouchea Center for Learning, Community Life, Penobscot Valley Industries, Ralph Leek Elder, or Pathways to Employment.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude required. DSP required, but we will train the right candidate(s). CRMA, related experience, and knowledge of positive behavioral supports desired.

Substitute Hours: Monday through Friday, on-call.
